Yo D, I got a Q or 2 for ya.
#1. Where is Budget located at?
#2. Is there still a Sam Goody in Northgate Mall? And do they still do consignment
#3. Are there any Sam Goodys in Seattle (not Lynnwood, or Everett) that still do consignment? I've talked to several of them today and most have closed that option for us indies.
#4. Does Platinum still do consignment?
#5. And are there any stores besides ARS, that I'm missing? What about Easy street? Do they do consignment?
For everyone else that's reading, if you have the answers to these questions, feel free to answer as I will be in the 206, 425, and 360 all day tommorrow restocking stores. Holla.

hate to be pessimistic...

things don't work like that there...

even if your boy works there or whatever the boss of his boss is only available to sell cd's certain distributors push to that company. If it's not in the main database for the whole fye chain it's not gonna be able to sell there...

DOG, come down to the PO, goto 2nd ave, lloyd, 360, music millenium, tower, u prolly already know the deal.

i'm looking forward to meeting u i'm also performin in that musicfestnw.

The only major hurdle would be convincing the store owner/worker to buy a case of 20...it would depend on the artist, and how much bullshit i talked up about em!:cheeky:

dog, well maybe for DOG they might take 10-20 cd's. but for any other artist setting up CONSIGNMENT they take 5 normally and 10 at the most.

with CONSIGNMENT they agree to sell the cd they take like 3 bucks per sale but YOU don't get paid till you sell all the cd's or you pull them off the shelve. they wont buy any cd's off you cuz you don't have distrobution.

i dont get care if u saved the owner's daughter/son's life your not gonna get it in there. hehehe. best u can do is stand outside the store and sell it.

and what's even more sad. most store managers don't even want to talk to you even if there store sets up consignment. so why would a manager of a store that doesn't set up consignment would want to even fuck with you. they'll have the fakeass mall security with flashlights after you.

I been meanin to stop by there, and see what i can do. I might even try and get a job there........and if i get a job there....trust me....not only will DOG's cd be on sale there, but ill clear out a whole fuckin SECTION for NW music!! THATS WHAT THE FUCK IM TALKIN BOUT!!

You're right, I do know about those store but I'm going North today bro. I'll be making my way back down that way. I tried to get to the Lloyd Center Sunday but I got their after 6 and you know they close @ 6pm. I was at the Car Show in Hillsboro slanging that good music. I'll be in Vancouver, WA this Sunday for the BBQ and Lowriders hopping. Hopefully, I'll see you there. I will miss you on the 13th because I have a show in Kennewick at the Grizzly Bar. But come through for my show on the 14th with Ras Kass. One.
