David Stern says he would support replay
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- After several questionable calls, non-calls and last-second shots in the 2002 NBA playoffs, the cry among many fans for instant replay has grown louder.
And the NBA, it appears, is listening.
Before Tuesday night's Game 5 of the Western Conference finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and Sacramento Kings, NBA commissioner David Stern said the league's competition committee would meet next week and will discuss the possibility of adding instant replay.
"The game has just gotten too fast for our officials to see everything," Stern said.
Stern also added that he "would support" adding some form of instant replay to NBA games.
awesome.
