ok here is the problem my system is not bridge. i just started having this problem.my left sub is the only one that plays but if i fuck with the rcas and switch them around they will work everyone in a while both subs will work.but the only thing my amp doesnt go in protection mode...so what could it really be..could it be the amp has a short inside or what

could be the amp... could be the source unit... try some new RCA's possibly as well if you have some laying around.

my guess is it's the amp... too fucking bad there's nothing you can test RCA inputs/outputs with

dont get generic rca's. make sure you get some good ones. plug one rca at a time. first the left, then the right. if one work but the other dont, then get new ones. but if new ones do the same, you might want to make sure that its plugged in correctly on the back of the stereo, and also check the speakers. one might be shorting out.

it means to try using your high inputs. in your amp, you should have high inputs that connect to your speakers (car speakers to be exact). and your amp will be getting its audio from your speakers rather than from the stereo itself. also make sure that its not shorting at the sub connection. rare, but it can happen.

@ Rose town ryda, most amps tend to shut themselves off when they over heat. check the fuses on the amp and anything that goes to your stereo. also make sure that there is power going to the remote and B+. if there is, the amp may have been fried. but it would have to be work excessively to blow up.
