In a deal that NBA front-office sources said came together quickly Sunday night and received the needed league approval Monday morning, Golden State sent Jackson and guard Acie Law to the Bobcats in exchange for veteran swingmen Raja Bell and Vladimir Radmanovic.

"He's happy about the trade, delighted about the trade," Jackson's agent, Mark Stevens, told ESPN.com's Chris Sheridan. "This is what he wanted, a new start, and this gives him a chance to compete. Plus, he's a huge fan of that team's president, Michael Jordan." Stevens also said Jackson was expected to be in uniform for the Bobcats Monday night against Orlando.

Yeah cap relief and a good perimeter defender who isnt short as fuck. I'll take it. S-Jax and his leadership (when he was leading) wont be forgotten. Glad something happened though, this should relieve some tension for the team. Hope we find a new veteran leader.

Raja Bell, who was traded to Golden State on Monday, came very close to having surgery to repair a torn ligament in his wrist just before the start of the season, but chose to play through the injury.
Bell has been playing in pain and we're starting to wonder if passing a physical might be a problem. In addition, if he's unhappy about going to Golden State, he could easily elect to shut it down for four months and have the surgery that he was putting off in Charlotte. If he plays you have to think he'll put up solid numbers in GSW, but there's also a chance he could shut it down. Either way, Anthony Morrow's future is looking a little brighter today.

Honestly that article doesnt make much sense cuz Charlotte is wack and hes probably looking forward to playing against his former team the Suns more often

^^^sure, but remember a lot of NBA players have had issues with coming to the Warriors. While there are plenty of shitty teams, players have a problem with how dysfunctional the Warriors are. On top of it we have a loony coach who fucks around with the lineups too much, including minutes, and it could be a veteran's nitemare. Zydrunas Ilgauskas was gonna retire rather than play here. It sucks cuz a lot of Warriors fans are living in fantasy land thinking we're a team that can draw a superstar to come play here.
