A friend from work sent me these a few weeks ago. Being a former Disney employee and playing their Capcom games for SNES as a kid, I was stoked to see these screens. Especially when you see how dark it is, which is uncharacteristic of Disney. I was just wondering if any of y'all knew anything about this game? And I have no idea WTF relevance "steampunk" has in the gaming world. If anybody could elaborate...

Looks like some designs for a world in the new Kingdom Hearts game.

That's exactly what it looks like with the mixing up of different worlds, like the black and white cows from the original cartoon and the island tower in that last pic.

Also, the darkness can be seen as a direct reflection of the plot line the first two Kingdom Hearts games followed.

They worked their way up and into a very dark "Heartless" plot where characters were losing their souls and such.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Disney and SquareEnix are going all out for the third game.

I love steampunk shit, and Disney does good work...I'm down.

Oh, and steampunk is 19th century or Victorian age shit with an abundance/reliance on mechanical technology.

thanks for the info fellas.

And I wouldn't be unhappy at all if there was a Disney/SquareEnix collab for a new Kingdom Hearts game. I played the first one almost all the way through (PS2 I think it was?).
