Just started, from the 27th to the 3rd. New deals every 8 hours and pretty much everything is at least 50% off.

Sleeping Dogs 5$ (All DLC is 11$ doesn't include game)
Skyrim 7.50$ or 20$ for legendary edition
Outlast 7$ (Scary survival game)
Binding of Issac 2.50$
Walking Dead 6.24$
Dead Island Franchise Pack (Includes 1, Riptide, DLC) for 12.49$
Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition 6$
Van Helsing 5$

Killing Floor 5$
Dead Pixels 1$

Most of these games drop trading cards, you can sell them to get some of the money back. Cards go about 20 cents or 2-5 dollars if you are lucky enough to get a foil.

I have some games from the Summer Sale that I still haven't beaten. But some of these deals are too good to pass up. Nothing I want just yet but I'll keep an eye out over the next few days.

Its basically a computer running linux.
Would only buy it as a novelty, but depending on the price
would be a good budget gaming "pc console" considering the
games they put out for free are pretty good, ex: TF2 and DOTA 2.

If they acquire licensing from the game developers and offer the same deals they offer on pc then it might crush the competition, that is one of the small advantages I see it having right now. They have a lot of work to do if they want to divert fanboys from their current consoles.

Why buy an additional console if your pc or mac is already steam capable?
