Yeah, I was never a Trekkie and actually the old school series annoyed the hell out of me, and I felt like I was trapped in some fucking Twilight Zone.

But I've heard nothing but good about the movie, and I've read and heard that you don't even have to be into Star Trek to enjoy it.

yeah i def was not a trekkie but this movie was dope. totally makes up for cloverfield

I HATE Star Trek in general. All the past movies and TV shows, hated them. I don't like many sci-fi movies period actually.

With that said... this is one of the best movies I've seen all year.

I highly recommend it. Great flick.
