I was waiting for someone to start a thread about this one.
I've been a big fan since the first one, which I think is the best.
In this one, they completely killed the franchise's main gameplay, but they made it more action oriented.
It's more fun than Batman, so yes, I'll be picking it up.

multiplayer any good?

I haven't played it, but from what I read the co-op campaign is good. And this is what Game Informer said about multiplayer: "Conviction's multiplayer disappoints outside of the co-op. Ubisoft has included a one-on-one, spy-vs-spy competitive component, but it lacks the flair and depth of previous installments' spies-vs-mercenaries mode." If all they have is one-on-one multiplayer...doesn't sound too good to me.

Well, I beat it. It was pretty cool. Way too short, though, and the levels are kinda repetitive.

I got the Collector's Edition at HMV, which came with a free Double Agent.
I guess I can sell that one.

But the fuckin' thing didn't even come with a comic book like advertised (not that I really give a shit), and I don't know how to insert the USB into the USB slot.
I read that everybody's having problems with this shit, and UbiSoft knows, which is why they lowered the prices.

I just ordered the 360 250GB Elite bundle that comes with this game. Saw the IGN video review and it seems good but they did complain of a short campaign. What's with these game developers skimming on the single player modes? Well I'll probably play through it and see if the other modes are any good

yea it was a short game, but i thought it was real fun. rented it, and beat it in about 5 days. ill buy when the price goes waaaaayyy down.

think I will pass on this version, right now for a game to have longevity multiplayer is very important.

The earlier versions were great, innovative and fun. I doubt much has changed though.
