I know YUK feels as if folks are always hating on him and CUBE is the ORIGINAL nigga you love to hate but on the SICCNESS, SPICE 1 is #1. Yall don't like any of his albums after 1996??!!! Yall couldn't be serious.DYIN TO BALL is underground SPICE 1 gangsta/thugsh*t at it's finest. In 1999, SPICE 1 dropped IMMORTALIZED(classic material!) which was produced by the 3rd best producer on the westcoast -RICK ROCK- and yall still didn't like it. He went independent after that and dropped another gem THE LAST DANCE and yall still booed him. He went with unknown producers after that and I admit some of his beats didn't do him justice and the mixing of the album is not top notch but his style HAS NEVER CHANGED!!! How can yall say that he fell off??? Please respond.

i think alotta bay cats are so harsh and critical of big Spice1 becuz we have such high standards for dude..he is a bay area legend..and he dropped so much classic shit that we expect somethin more out of him other than some mediocre albums with 2-3 knocks...i been knockin Spice1 since i got amerikkkaz nightmare for x-mas when i was like in 5th or 6th grade and to this day i got nothin but respect for dude...but fact remains i aint spendin my cash on somethin unless its a worthy investment point blank period

i thought cuts off immortalized, Last Dance & The Ridah were tight.. Spiceberg Slim i wasnt too feelin part from one cut that was like a part 2... Dyin 2 Ball aint heard yet...

So you reckon he's outta touch with what his die hard fans and bay cats want from his music? Maybe he just needs more bite in his production.. I cant say cause i aint heard his flow on dyin 2 ball.

I admit that SPICE 1's production is not what it used to be but you could make that same argument for nearly every artist from CALI- from SNOOP to E 40 to C BO to LUNASICC to MC EIHT to DAZ and so forth and so forth but yall don't criticize them nearly as much as yall do SPICE WEEZY. That's why CALI has fell off so hard cuz yall don't support the pioneers and the ones who still putting it down to the fullest. Maybe yall should chip in SPICE 1's budget so he can get them big name producers like GAME got. SPICE 1 shouldn't even have to ask any of these top notch producers for beats. They should do it out of love for the game anyway.

Spice 1 ain't gotta 'prove' nuthin but yes indeed the diference between 187 he wrote and dyin 2 ball is obvious. Then again times have changed. Spice 1 is well know for his rapid fire flow and originality. Like many rap legends all over, I think it's just hard to stay with consumers changing tastes and values. Not really like he 'fell off' or some shit, but more like it's hard to stay a 'pioneer' forever. Smell me?
