i just got into making music and i need advise on what kind of speakers i should get to connect to my PC so i can hear the right sounds and make things easier for me on doing the Levels/EQ each time i do a beat... any ideas? :ermm: someone help me...
I just bought a pair of M-Audio Studiophile AV 40. They sound good (to me). And only $150. But if your budget is higher then mine was, I'd go with something a little better.
Speakers are a vital if not the most vital part of your studio setup. Go with your maximum budget allowance, I would if I was you go with the Yamaha HS50M's for a good home studio monitor check them out here - http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/HS50M/. Plus with those what your hearing is exactly what all the others hearing your music will hear there that accurate. Hope that helps ya!!!
^^ that one looks tyte, but expensive... $200 for each speaker box?... oh well if im serious then i gotta do what i gotta... thnx magnitude... if anyone alse can help, please do so...
I would either co-sign for the previously mentioned Yamaha HS50M's....or the ones that I have which are the next step up, the HS80M's. The mixes translate real well.
Never been a fan of the KRK stuff. I always thought that they were a bit too heavy in the mids.
I got Events 20/20 and they ok. Im going to get the Blue Sky Media setup next. Heard good things about them for the price. anyone out there use them or used them?
