This show is HORRIBLE. They borrowed not only story lines and actual SCENES from both Gladiator and 300, but the acting is ATROCIOUS.

I tried to watch it but it just looked like a cheap version of Gladiator. I might give it another shot just because it was really late at night when I tried watching it.

I literally watched the first 5 minutes of the first episode...as soon as they showed that slow-motion-speed-up fight scene, which was a DIRECT ripoff from 300, i turned it off.

The show is cool it not only reminds me of gladiator and 300 but HBOs Rome too. I wouldn't rank it nearly as high as the Wire but it is entertaining. When they say Sex Sells they mean it in this show. I've downloaded them all except the last episdoe to air. I'll get that tonight and watch it when I'm bored.

Ok, so I decided to give it another try but skipped the first episode and it actually is decent. Yeah the 300 graphics were garbage but the storyline isn't too bad.

Damn after episode 8 shit is startin to get good. Now finally they built a firm storyline. The Gaul's (?) character is taking off. The owner of the gladiator school should get an emmy (Can you get that for this type of show?). His character keeps me laughing. So I have changed my mind, this show is one of the better ones on television right now.

I like this show, the story line is getting better and the fight scenes are pretty good. The gladiator owner character is pretty funny.
