STOCKTON – One man was killed and another injured after a shooting broke out at a sideshow in southeast Stockton early Sunday morning, police reported.
Police received a call around 2:45 a.m. Sunday that Manuel Fajardo, 19, of Stockton, was being taken to San Joaquin General Hospital after being shot at a sideshow near Arch Road and Frontier Way. Fajardo arrived at the hospital in critical condition, but was later pronounced dead.
A second victim, whom police have not yet identified, arrived at San Joaquin General sometime later. Police said he was in stable condition and expected to survive.
