What soundcard do you use? I just ordered the M-Audio Audiophile. Has anyone used it or knows anything about it I'm interested in opinions. I've read around and researched before buying and it seems like a good choice for my budget I'm just interested what you guys think.

Also how important do you think a good soundcard is? I've been running on some Sound Blaster card that came with my comp 5 years ago.

I've had the Echo Mia and I liked its sound also. It sounded better than a "Marc 8 midi" card that I had that cost a lot more.

If you're working with digital audio with a computer, your soundcard is one of your most important pieces. The whole signal chain is important but good converters mean a whole lot.

I've had M-Audio Audiophile for over a year.. Been satisfied so far.. Very clean sound and small latency.. It's cool to have an option to chain multiple cards... Today I ordered a second one to get more ins/outs..

I use the MOTU 24I to record my tracks into Cubase SX. MOTU is top of the line but pretty expensive. Cost me a lil over $800 when I bought it... I only need to track my beat once since I got up to 24 channels simultaneously goin. Fuck with MOTU cause the sound is clean.
