I've done all the research and I decided on a computer based system. Only thing is that I dont want to use the computers sounds. I've got a board with some good sounds but wack drum sounds. My question is, what is a good sound mod with good drum sounds? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thx.

You should probably go with a sampler for drums. Most of the decent drum sounds on sound modules have been used to death by everyone else. Not withstanding that, Planet Phatt probably has the best drums on a module in my opinion.

I use the Battery vst plugin for my drums. It's a drum orientated sampler. When used with your own sounds, it is very versitile. BTW, if you're looking for drum samples, hit me up...
