Great ways to promote your event.
Posters : include all of the bands on the bill, music style, times, date & cover charge. It’s great to post them up near the venue. Make sure you abide by all posting laws when promoting. You do not need a ticket or fine for posting your information in an unlawful place. We also suggest postering at local colleges, popular streets near the venue, music stores near the venue and at other venues near the venue of your performance.
Your other shows: Make sure to announce to your fans about upcoming shows. Use your website for updates and creating a good link with the people who enjoy your music.
Local Media: There are several media sources in the bay area that are willing to add your promotional ad to their listings for FREE. Use this resource, build a relationship with grassroots level groups.
What we will do to promote the show Online: We have an extensive list of music buyers in most genres across the bay area and southern California. We send Evites for all our events to these fans. We will send you an Evite as well and encourage you to forward it to your own mailing lists of friends and fans.
Postering: If you send us flyers for the show, we will also put them up around the venue you are performing at. Please Note: When creating a flyer for your show, remember it’s other people’s show as well. It’s always great to promote the entire night and not just your act and selected time to perform. Include time and date of event, location and phone number of venue, price options and the names of the other acts performing.
Media: We have a growing list and relationship with local media. Send along any promotional information to us and we will make sure they receive it.
