I just bought a Sony Xplod XM-1902 760watt amplifier. My question is, how is sony rated in the field of amplifiers? Are their amps legit? I had a MTX THUNDER 6152 before that...

Not really with Sony...I paid $300 for an Xplod deck around a year and a half ago...Worked coo for about a month then it would make a funny grinding noise when I put a cd in and it would spit it back out...So I took it back and got a new one...well a couple months later the same shit happened..so I took it back and exchanged it for a Pioneer that was around $200 somerthin and havnt had any problems since...
Dude at Best Buy told me Sony car stereo shit gets returned the most...
