Sonar 3 Question

i just downloaded Sonar 3 and i'm having a playback problem...when i play anything in it, it drags...then i play the same file in Sonar 2 and it plays fine...i export a sample from both versions and they play perfect...anybody else had this problem and figured out how to fix it...

maybe its cuz you are using cracked software, try downloading it again, or maybe its because you have sonar 2 and 3 at the same time.
i just uninstalled both Sonar 2 & 3, and reinstalled 3 and its still not working right...thanks for the response though...

Are you playing Sonar 2 recorded tracks in Sonar 3? If so, have you checked audio settings and sample rates? It could be possible you had Sonar 2 set at a one rate, and Sonar 3 was set at a different rate after you did your install.

I had the same problem too.. Sonar 2 worked perfect then Sonar 3 didnt.. the problem was sound card and/or ram Sonar 3 requires more... i bought a 500 stick ram (plus my old 250 ram which is now 750ram) and bought a new soundcard and it works perfect now...

so i suggest get a new Soundcard and More Ram and should work good hope this hopes

thanks for that advice...i think i'll be stickin to Sonar 2 (if i can get it installed again) and Cubase SX...

Trying playing with the buffer/pre-buffer settings. Sounds like the playback isn't set right.
