Anyone hear Akon's new cd? he got a song called the rain...only heard it once but he talks about life on the road and living up to his last album and shit...Thought it was cool to see another artist not in Techs genre to speak on the same topic...great minds think alike...K.I.M.

I will say his voice is an aquired taste....his songs on the radio right now are garbage....cd is alright...better than Jim Jones?!?!? LOL

Yeah it's real nice to see someone with Nas's following and rep speak out about the state of hip-hop these days. The majority of the "new" artists (there are some good ones now) are absolute trash.

agreed 100%, most the rappers nowadays that are good arent even in the mainstream like it should be though, and hopefully that shit changes soon

That's agreed fo sho!...Im interestsed in the Nas album myself...he's puttin himself out there with the title of that album...reminiscent(sp?) of the F.T.I. movement....speaking up on whats real..
