This may sound petty but it has fuckin' pissed me off for YEARS that every player has the same chin strap set up on their helmet. EA has to be able to fix this fuckin' shit. Every player in these games uses the chin strap snap at the top of their helmet near the temple. I don't know why but it just looks WRONG!

u know what pisses me off in ncaa? the catch animations. my guy will be 60 yards down the field, about to catch a wide open bomb, but its by his shoulders/head, right? well, he'll do that animation where he'll pull up short, like stutter step, and try to catch it in his lower torso/hips area, and the ball will just sail past him. then, theres that catch animation that the cpu always manages to pull off where they'll spin sometimes in the OPPOSITE DIRECTION, and it'll only take them 3 steps, but they do a full 360 and somehow end up covering 8 yards in those 3 steps, then have the pass hit them in the numbers, and they'll most likely take it all the way.
I never really thought of that as a glitch, but I think I may have read that they fixed it.
I think the reason I dislike Madden on the 360 is that it reminds me of 2K5.. When I first played last years, thats what I thought of. It doesn't feel likr Madden. It also wasn't nearly done as well as the jump from 00 to 01 on the PlayStation consoles.

Madden 06 and 07 don't even have refs on the field...
neither one of them has the net behing the field goal poles either...
both of these "features" were on 2K5.
Madden 07 made you pay for classic stadiums, and you had to download classic uniforms...
are these small things to you? Maybe the field goal net, but the others are pretty glaring.

There was is a field goal net on Madden 07 on the PS2 version (I know this because I always try to kick the ball over the net on extra points, which is a glitch in the game because the ball just gets stuck). I only played it on the 360 a few times so I don't recall if there was a net or not. The 360 version seemed like a downgrade from the PS2 version to me for some reason (besides the better graphics of course). Something about it just didn't flow right and I think something else was missing...like the hit stick on offense or something like that...
I really hope '08 is a lot better for the 360/PS3 than '07 because if not, then yeah 2k will be far superior (but unfortunately its still hard to get around the NFL license deal).

I think this goes back to the differences in the leagues. the NBA markets individual players. So of course you want Kobe in his black and gold nike's. People buy shoes of their favorite basketball player, or new releases in the case of Jordan's. Alot of people in the NFL have endorsement deals with companies, but they dont have an individual shoe. Vick is the only guy ican think of...probably because i buy his shoes. I know DeAngelo hall endorses Reebok, but he doesnt have his own shoe.
