The talk of Van Dam wrestling for TNA led interviewer Simon Rothstein to ask what Van Dam thinks about what many fans would consider a dream match against AJ Styles. "I can tell you this — I don't sit at home and fantasize about matches with AJ Styles," he said. " I am a professional when I get in the ring . But as far as personal matches that go through my mind, and working with this guy or that guy, I don't give a f--- about that."
This is from an interview with the UK sun.

If I read this, and worked for WWE or TNA, I'd lose all interest in working with this guy in any professional way. Doesn't RVD understand, that the guy he's in the ring with has at least some of the share of what makes a match good? If he doesn't have a desire to work with certain guys, then to me that means he's only out there to make HIMSELF look good, and doesn't give a fuck about the fact that a wrestling match takes place with other guys in the ring. Those guys need to get over as well, and since they have such a big impact on whether or not you look good, shouldn't you care who the fuck you work with?

Also, shouldn't you want to work with certain guys out of respect?

This statement makes no sense to me.

I haven't watched wrestling regularly in quite some time, but when I did watch it and RVD was in WWE, he SUCKED.

You know why he doesn't care who's with him in the ring? Because he has the same fucking match 95% of the time, regardless of who his opponent is. He does the same sloppy kicks, the same sloppy Rolling Thunder that hurts him as much as his opponent, the same sloppy Frog Splash that he oversells. He has to be one of the sloppiest wrestlers I've ever watched, and he has ZERO personality and charisma to boot.

RVD can go fuck himself.

He was alright in ECW... But when you have the aid of tables and chairs and shit, you already have an advantage. I agree 100 percent about his WWE run though. I think that was partly WWE's fault though. He's a pretty charasmatic guy and all they let him say was "Cool" and "Dude".

It was fucking gay.

i will admit however when he said "I can tell you this — I don't sit at home and fantasize about matches with AJ Styles," that shit made me laugh for real haha...
