I remember this Topic from B-12 from a year ago and I'd like to start up one for this year...

Let us know what you accomplished in the past year. Did you complete all missions you set out to do?

If not, What set you back?


Personally...

I have been in the home loan business as a loan officer for a year now and I have done very well. I'm extremely happy and will continue to do this. Musicwise I haven't had the urge to drop an album or anything.. we have talked about doin some things.. but it's still up in the air. I haven't noticed much movement in Merced in terms of music. Nobody seems to be doing anything notable. I tried one new venture in June... and it flopped... lost some bread on that shit! lol. I did a comedy show.. and I will not do another one. Aint nobody comin to comedy shows in Merced like they came to the Concerts we did lol. I brushed off the failed comedy show and moved forward. I plan to stack more chedda in 2006 as business is beginning to boom. If anyone is looking to Refinance or purchase a property, holla at ya boy. [email protected]

I also will continue to work with kids ( coaching football and basketball) and spend quality time with my close friends and associates.

These so called "rappers" who you put your money behind think that they are fuckin SUPERSTARS after a couple of low selling albums and waste youre time, money and effort are a fuckin joke and they end up right where they began - livin in grandma's house driving a fuckin Le Car. The local game has become a fuckin joke with the exception of a few REAL hungry and dedicated acts. If youre not in it for the love of the music, youre wasting your time.

as for me - man i'm still young and hungry, not older and wiser yet! def doin this for the love cause this shit ain't gettin me caked up to the fullest - hopefully in a minute tho. put out my 1st dvd, reception to it has been very warm on the internet and in the streets. the soundtrack is laggin - there's so many costs involved with music production in general that i'm not fuckin with that shit anymore except for maybe some mixtape projects. fuck, recording, mixing, mastering to sell what, 2000 units? fuck that.

I hit my goal with the dvd dropped the B.c.s mixtape did 875 units gave out bout 200 This iz richmond did over 2,300 units I did a kids project that raised over $79,000 for East Palo Alto schools kinda kept it on the low cause it was all for the kids shook some new hands,was in the XXL,cover of the SouthWestBound,real happy with 2005 2006 got some film roles got a part in a new t.v. Show that's gonna be on UPN man the film s is were the money is at got a nice ascap check from BET for some music I did for a film called Midnight blue,still teaching kids in East Palo Alto went back to my old school Richmond High and spoke to some students my album is gonna drop in spring Erase E drops Feb.2006 beats by the bay volume 2 drops in March as well as the soundtrack just real blessed got a wonderful family as a backbone OG MS you hit it on the nail this music aint promised so all yall trying to do it I hope yall doing it for the love of the music cause the money is hard to come by unless you are willing to go out there and hustle for it yall have a blessed 2006 yeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Accomplishments this year

1) Made more $$$ than I did in 2004 (my goal is always to make more than the previous year)

2)Stayed healthy all year long I have sickle cell)

3)Bought my 1st house this year so I'm no longer apt. living!!! :)

4)Continued to reach out to young kids and teach them real life issues

%)Read my BIBLE more and applied the scripture to my life(not all the time!!!)

Shit life's been good to me. My label opend up two new offices. one in London and a very new one in Paris. Worked on a mixtape that we haven't dropped yet, finished 3 albums worth of material and the label released the new project The Illusive Crew album and we're giving it away starting in January. February will make a year I've been working at State Farm as a Claims Processor but in March I'm throwing it all away to be a stay-at-home Dad while my wife goes back to work and I'll get my AA Degree so I can go to law school and defend some of the fathers in child support cases.

Musically '06 is my last year and then I'm retiring.

Graduated school and goin to Washington DC next spring. Got two internships lined up and aint figured out which one to take yet, one involves education for human development and creating cirriculum for underprivliged and international students and the other is with a "think tank" that makes government policy and does terrorism research. Should be interesting to have a Siccness spy workin in DC lol.
