Got a friend who might be job transferring out there and she wanted to know what things a "tourist" could do out there in Sac. Is it a concrete jungle like L.A. or a quiet city? Is there areas to avoid?

So just looking for a rundown.

lots of highways & traffic. a few ghettos. id say avoid oak park lol

theres things to do in sac, just like every big city. arden fair mall, cal expo, movie theatres, clubs, old sac, etc.

i wouldnt wanna move there, but theres a lot worse places you could go to

Sac is cool. I wouldn't consider L.A. a concrete jungle though. What's up with ur friend? Are they single? D they have kids? Where are they transferring from? These are things that need 2 be known too.

I'd live here over the Bay area. The Bay is cool but not my taste.

Sac got ghettos like any city in America. Most people that move to Cali from outta state usually don't like Sac unless they are from some rural part of the south or midwest. People I meet from out of town like it if they are just trying to live & not tripping on too much extra curicular bullshit.
