This what happened. For like a month now, this web dialer shyt been poppin up on my computer. I didnt like it poppin up of course, so I tried to remove it but that didnt work. So I just x out of it everytime it comes up. I use the spyware removal programs, they detect the web dialer and other spyware, but it dont remove them when it say it does. So I get the phone bill today, and its over $100 worth of charges on there from this web dialer shyt. Can anyone help me get this shyt off my computer for good?

Well.... are you on dial-up? I dont know why the spyware removal programs didnt work, but may I ask how exactly did you come about this? Porn sites maybe? Do you know the name of the dialer? Did you try removing the spyware while your computer was in Safemode?

if theres no way to get rid of do a sytem restore like 187 said..when you run the virus or a spyware scan do it in safe mode....

also download spware blaster (its free).its blocks spyware, dialers,ect. so they wont even get on your comp

After you run Ad-aware...if you have Norton...run that...that will get rid og registry errors and left behind shortcuts.If those get left behind...some spyware and vrius can clone themselves...and its a pain in the ASS...you can also try Registry Mechanic..that works well...
