Some pics from factories I been to.

This was in Zhejiang Province, Nan'An.

This was near Shanghai. Metal Lanterns.

This was one of the better factories I been to. Also near Shanghai.

This was in one of the few factories I ever been to on Xiamen Island where I live. Most factories leave the Island cause it is too expensive, and the government is cleaning up the city, trying to turn it into a second Hongkong, but better. Cleanest city in China.

This was in Quanzhou, 2 hours from Xiamen. Big Promotional Item order for a Beer brewery. Went there at least 6 times and every visit ended with going to have dinner and after that Karaoke. And in China they will force you to drink.

A local street market near my old apartment. It's good for veggies, fruits, seafood, and some meat like chicken, duck, etc., cause they kill em right in front of you. Personally I rather just drive to the Metro and buy shit there.

nice photos, whats the night life like?
We have many Bars, Clubs, and KTVs.

KTVs (Karaoke) is the biggest thing. We have one in Xiamen where 3.000 girls work. Those girls are just there to get ordered to rooms and to drink and sing with the people in there. Some you can take home. They drive you with golf carts inside to your room...Most contracts in China get signed in KTVs. It is kind of a must, that after you go to a factory that you go out for dinner and then to Karaoke. And it's all about getting fucked up. You normally drink shots of whiskey. Chivas is very popular here. But also everything else. It's mostly about price and not taste. The more it costs and you order it, the more your friend or business partner will be impressed. Same with cigarettes. You can buy some that cost 20 cents a pack, but in business you hand out Chungwa cigs that cost US$ 13/pack.
There is also a family friendly version without the girls and shit.

Bars and clubs are pretty similar to everywhere else in the world.

I don't have many pics, but here are a couple:

With my homie:

With a factory:

With friends:

Not the best pics, but who carries a camera when goin out?!

@ Mike, props for posting the pics man. I'm curious, are you treated differently due to not being chinese?
Yes. In different ways.

One way is, that I'm not Chinese and get treated by autorities better then normal Chinese people.

Then I'm German and Chinese people love Germans. Just yesterday was I able to reduce my rent because the landlord likes Germans. haha

But also alotta girls are looking for foreigners as a boyfriend/husband. Being tall and blond like me puts you on top of the list.

When I first came here, people on the street would stare at me. Kids would point fingers and scream laowei (foreigner). It's changing now though. More and more people from all over the world move here. It's not that special anymore.

Some pics from Xiamens major tourist attraction - a small island called Gu Lang Yu. Many nice old buildings from Europeans that used Xiamen as a port starting in the 16th century. People from Germany, Portugal, England, Holland, etc. all came here.

My sister just got back from traveling for almost a year, she was in China, India and a bunch of other places that I can't remember. She said people in India kept trying to take pictures of of her and other foreigners and everyone stared. She just got a job teaching in Korea and is heading back out soon, I really don't think I could just pack up and leave like that for such a long amount of time but it would be cool.

Well, I didn't just leave on my own. I got sent her by my former company for one year at first. But I already liked this city and met some nice people after a short while, so when my company asked me to stay longer I said sure. Still difficult to leave your family and friends behind, but I still see em.
