In read in the July issue of GameInformer that Zipper Interactive is working on Socom 4 while this other company gives us this pacifier they got coming out to hold us over. Can't wait for that.

Socom Confrontation was thought of as Socom 4 but news has came out that Slant Six Games who is making Confrontation is only making a online game and not Socom 4. Like Doberman said its just a pacifier until Zipper finishs Socom 4. Slant Six is also making the PSP next installment of Socom.

They showed a map of crossroads but made bigger for 32 players to play on no official number of maps or names of the maps that will be on confrontation only thing for sure is its only going to be online no one player game.

Wasn't Combined Assault made for PSP? I never picked it up because of that. but its a long time to wait for that socom 4 . . .
