ight so im on disability and ive been disabled since 07, applied and started my process, i finally got approved july 09, when i went over the paperwork i found out that the government decided to throw away 2 years i spent suffering and in horrible pain and agony becuz "the judge that saw the case presided over it in july 09, so thats how far my back pay goes

now im not good wit SSI law or regulations, but they have cut off my food stamps, my pay is cut back to 636 a month and now they wont even cover me medically in any state but cali (and even cali can deny those benefits)

so now im forced to live on 636 a month, with rent, food and utilities(not to mention medicine and other expenses), and im wondering, does anyone here live under this same budget? (yea right, if you lived on the budget ud be a broke homeless bum or soon to be one) what do i do? how can i fix this? what should i know about SSI, i know that i should be gettin back pay from the time i applied and kept current wit my appeals, but im gettin screwed in the ass by the federal and state government and i dont see any other way but to act out and do sumthing stupid and im tryna at all costs to avoid that (i got too much to lose but i wont let anyone throw away 2 years i spent in hospitals and ERs half dead, becuz they thought i could work a tiny bit)

i really need advice and most of yall are intelligent about laws and rules and shit, break it down for me, shoot me sum advice on how to move forward wit this

id appreciate the help yall

I would suggest getting a doctor's advice along with calling up a law firm that specializes in Social Security claims. They can get denied, but I've heard of cases being accepted after they went in court a few times.

It is bullshit though, I understand what kind of pain and life-draining affects your health has had on a young man.

there should be non profit organizations that could help you with social security and healthcare, i would check on that before turning to a lawyer.

just learn to live within your means if you have ok credit you can buy a condo for about 500+ a month
how do you buy a 500+ dollar a month condo when you make 636 a month tho?

then you figure, food, utilities, gas, do you shit without toilet paper? your water and garbage must be free, you know? its not as easy as people make it seem

the whole social security system is fucked up

i know what you mean, and i feel you, but its not that easy pimp

work at home?

i thought all that shit was a get rich quick scam
...

The number of Americans working out of their homes increased from about 9.5 million in 1999 to about 11.3 million in 2005, half of them making at least $75,000 a year, according to a new report from the U.S. Census Bureau.

Many companies have ADA hiring goals, so it's not uncommon for them to seek out hiring people with disabilities to work from home.

Most prevalent job types for teleworkers with disabilities who had prior employment with an employer were:

* Office functions (52.5%)
* Administrative jobs (49.1%)
* Research and analysis (45.9%)
* Technician (36.1%)
* Customer service (26.2%)
* Claims review (24.6%)
