Well I think the first time I heard him spit was on the AmeriKKKilla CD. Me and my boy was driving to work together , and he put it, and I really couldn't hear, because it was a low quality tape, but his style caught my attention. Now this was back in 99' when I first heard it. But what really made me a TECH fan is when he came out with Planet Rock. That shit was too tight when it came out. I was going to Tremors in Lawrence like every weekend, and the first time I heard it, I was like "listen to this nigga dawg". They just kept playin' it every time I would go down there. This was around X-mas. Our family always has a X-mas party over my parents house, and before me and my sister was out doin' some last minute X-mas shopping, and we went to Best Buy, and I picked up "Calm Before the Storm", I really only got it for Planet Rock, but I forgot that I heard "Questions" at my cousins house several years later, I remember at Hot Summer Nights they used to play Mitch Bade all the time, but I never knew who it was. Remember Hot Summer Nights...that shit was fun, but we got to our X-mas party, and I'm always the DJ, and at first I was just getting everybody hype, with some other shit, but I was kind of scared to play Planet Rock , because you know older people "cut that riff-raff off", but I did anyway. Ya'll should have seen my family they was gettin hype off of TECH, who woulda thunk? But after hearing all of Calm before Storm, TECH was up there to me with my other fav. group, ya'll already know who they are. But since then it's been history.
