these pics were probably links to pictures... once a site goes down, the picture is no longer available... thus --> red x.

if people save the picture to the hard drive of their comp, and load the pictures that way, there would be no more red x's

it could also be that the siccness' server is getting overloaded with too much info... these big ass pictures take up a lot of space... the webmaster might have taken them out himself...

if you upload your picture somewhere else and use an image tag in your post, the picture will show up fine.

its only images that are being served by siccness.. they're probably trying to control their bandwidth...
