If any you guys remember my youtube channel (TechN9neLibrary) I had over a thousand subscribers and had about 80 videos uploaded. I was at over 2 million overall views of all my vids combined. Not only to mention the time I would take to make some of these videos so that it wasn't just the album cover picture, I'd take time in movie maker to try to make it a little entertaining. In the past they had never flagged any videos, and I remember watching a Tech interview saying he don't care about all his music on youtube. And then all of a sudden theyre flaggin all my vids. I'm a little upset but I'm not going to try to make a new account, it's whatever the fuck, all I know is Strange lost a big free advertiser for their music on youtube.

You can take songs from youtube and convert them to mp3. You had songs from new albums. Unreleased/Features might fly but if its possibly hurting Strange's income, you shouldnt be surprised.

i got 2 sanctions from strangemusic
1 more and my channel gets blocked - so im not gonna upload any "strange music" music anymore, even though i was just uploading it for promotion.... oh well

It's unfortunate, because theres loads of ways to find music online without paying, just unfortunate action is taken against the one that involves spreading strange music name and promotion

Its copyright infringement. You don't own the material and your posting it on youtube. The entire terms of service on youtube is dedicated to pointing what is allowed and isnt allowed on the site.

Exactly, somebody who is converting youtube vids into mp3 is already a pirate, he's gunna find a way to download it for free 1 way or another. And it wasn't youtube who deleted it, like Fallen Warrior said Strange Music has all of a sudden started flaggin my vids. A simple message telling me they didn't want a certain vid up and I'd take it down immeadiatly, but instead they had to get my account deleted. Honestly, it's they're loss anyway, so I ain't trippin.

thats exactly right...now that strange is becoming bigger (and you can tell in the music that they are succumbing to the music industry)...they will start acting like a major label as well...it really is a fucking shame to see...i remember when strange music was like musics best kept secret...

Props to having invested the time to display all the sick shit on youtube, but it sucks that all they have to do is press a few buttons and the time spent invested in that is GONE. Yeah its copyright infringement, but this is coming from a label that said FTI and "download my shit for FREE!" Promoting illegal downloading. Now all the sudden the tune changes? I respect the "hustle" that SM is tryin to accomplish, but you have to take away from it as whatever, and move on. It could be worse, you could be getting fined PER SONG on the site for which you infringed on. like 250K or something? I dunno. Sorry and Shit that you invested the time to help spread the sickness and got your stuff deleted.

I am suprised that Strange Music would take that action.. YouTube seems like a good medium to get there music out there and I wouldn't expect the casual YouTuber would know or go about ripping the audio from a YouTube video.. oh well.. I am sure for every song they take down another one will just be uploaded in its place..
