Whitehurst looked good in pre-season, and they gave the Chargers all those draft picks and paid him a bunch of money. Put him in.

yea youre a nobody though! so you dont count! and no one outside of seattle gives a shit who you guys start. thats why i stated he couldve posted it in the seaturd season thread.
If a person has Matt on their fantasy squad, it might be important information for them, now wouldnt it?.

And do you think anyone gives a flying fuck about the 9ers outside of San Fran? Lets see you spin that logic.

I don't see why they would put Charlie in at this point in the season when they are still in a playoff race.

If they were out of the race, then yeah, see what Charlie can do. But if they are really trying to make the playoffs, now is not the time for experimentation.

Because Matt is committing CRUCIAL errors....13 TO's in the last 4 games. We have one of the worst D's and O's in the league. We are 2-6 in since going 4-2. This team is sliding into nothingness, and I would rather have a higher draft pick than go one-and-done in the playoffs.

This is a rebuild year, and I think we need to see what Charlie can offer, so we can have a better scope of our draft picks. I predicted 6 wins before the season started, and that looks to be where we are headed.

well that's why I said if they are trying to make the playoffs. They have to make that decision (which I think they just did). If they don't give a shit, then yeah, put charlie in. But if they are making a run at the playoffs, you stick with your vet, despite the tough games he's been in.

IMO - when we were 4-2 and coming off wins against the Bears and Chargers, I thought we had a shot to not only make the playoffs, but possibly do well if the team continued to improve throughout the rest of the season.

At that time I would have taken the playoffs over a better pick.

Now that we suck and only because we are a in a horrifically weak division have a shot at the playoffs, I would much rather have a better draft pick and chalk this year up to a rebuilding, rather than make the playoffs and almost inevitably be 1 and done.

So now, put in our weakest QB and please lose out the year :classic:
