yeah, our defense will still keep us in games against weaker teams. so we can win about 4 more games a year if we score some sort of touchdown. doesnt even matter if we win or lose for the draft position. since we traded our first round pick to the pats (they lose their pick but keep ours) and we traded for indy's first round pick this year. so basically we are going to get a #28-30 draft pick.
for one, the 9ers are 2-2, 1 game out of first place in the nfc west. for 2 we are last in total yards per game on offense, yet we are still 2-2. for 3, frank gore hasnt gotten off like he is capable and same with the offensive line, so once the line gets fixed watch gore explode like he is capable of. for 4 if we got 6-6 the rest of the season which "realistically" is very possible we will be right in the hunt for the wild care maybe even sneak into the playoffs with a 7th win

The niners got dominated in both there losses, and in the Seattle game the offensive line and Dilfer looked horrible. If you play ANYTHING like that Seattle game against anybody you don't have much chance to even win another game. And their 2 wins they barley squeaked by 1 of the worst 2 teams in the NFL the Rams and also the Cardinals. And with Alex Smith out it doesn't help this situation. They could still very well make the playoffs and have a winning record but right now in week 4 It looks like a long shot.
You would think Seahwaks fans would be the last fans to get on a team that arent doing so well. All those years of horrible seahawk football didnt teach you anything?
And calling the 07 niners the 06 raiders is funny, esp. in week 4.
Things can turn around but it doesnt look so great. I didnt even think we would make the playoffs this year because last year we werent even really that good.
We didnt even really upgrade the offense at all.
Jackson + Lelie + a rookie O-Linemen = doesnt equal playoffs.........
But it's not. End of discussion.

Our offensive line has the talent to be one of the best. They've been performing like one of the worst, however, but I don't think that's going to last much longer. Sooner or later they'll get it together, there's just way too much talent to suck ass all year.
He'll be back in a few weeks.
Vernon Davis will also be back in a few weeks. If you're referring to Manny Lawson.. The D is still doing just fine.
Look up to where I talked about the O-Line.
Again, look at what I posted about the O-Line. They'll get it together, and Gore will get has chance to shine again.

But eventually they'll change it when they realize they've given it enough chances and it's just not gonna work. Everybody has been hammering this into Nolan's head, he'll make a change just like he did with last year's defense (remember that?).
All that aside.. If the Niners do not make the changes I noted, which they probably will, then we won't win more than 7 or 8 games tops. If they do make the changes, I'd say 9-7 or 10-6. The problems are easily fixable, I've said it before.
