Do you really think the gas prices will go up to like $4 dollars a gallon?
no. (maybe$2.00 at most). first of all a very, very, very, small amount if any comes from Iraq. plus the president (Bush) just gave the OK to drill in Alaska, therefore reducing our dependancy on the middle east gas. plus after Sadamn is removed and sanctions are lifted on Iraq and they are allowed to sell oil to the world the gas prices will/should go down drastically

the world? ya we'll see, he'll prolly just do what the US did in the 50's with Iran, put in a dictator who was on the US's side, and would only sell oil to us/gb....

Shit I don't know wtf I'd do if gas went to 4, I'm already spending a shitload of cash at 1.50......

Hmmm, sounds real nice Mcleanhatch. And do you support this war with Iraq so we can have their oil? Thats what it all boils down to, oil.
this war isnt to have their oil. its to remove sadamn hussien who is a threat wether people wish to acknowledge it or not. now of course if he is removed it is in our best interest to have a big part in there oil.

sadamn hussien is a threat to who? Not me, not you, not any american. Do you honestly believe sadamm is a threat?
did he gas his own? yes, he did. so who's to say he wouldnt do that to us if he had a chance.

if he agreed he let inspectors into his country as part of his surrender of desert storm in the form of a UN resolution, which he did. and we all know he has chemical and biological weapons and was trying to get nukes. then he kicks out the inspectors ( a clear violation of his own surrender) what are we to believe. plus he has shot at out and brittish war planes that are patrolling the no-fly zone at least 6 days since the new resolutions were intact.

and you really believe that he is no danger to us????

Gas prices should go up, because Iraq is apart of OPEC mainly BRILLIANT Economist from Middle Eastern and African countries like Nigeria, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Libya etc. and they all gather up in a room and decide whether to sell oil at a higher price or to lower it down. I think prices will go up...

THE GAS PRICES WILL NOT RISE BECAUSE OF WAR ALONE. THE NEW GAS THAT WILL BE USED IS EXPENSIVE AND LACKS A CERTAIN CHEMICAL FOUND IN PREVIOUS GAS. THAT WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE RISE OF PROCES AS WELL.

did he gas his own? yes, he did. so who's to say he wouldnt do that to us if he had a chance.
DID AMERICA EXPERIMENT ON BLACK MALES WITH THE TUSKEGEE EXPERIMENT? WHOS TO SAY THEY WONT EXPERIMENT ON ME?

HOW DO YOU KNOW SADDAM GASSED HIS OWN? FROM WATCHIN TV? BY READING ASSOCIATED PRESS REPORTS?

if he agreed he let inspectors into his country as part of his surrender of desert storm in the form of a UN resolution, which he did. and we all know he has chemical and biological weapons and was trying to get nukes.
AND WE ALL KNOW AMERICA FUNDED HIM DURING THE IRAN/IRAQ WAR. WHATS YOUR POINT?

then he kicks out the inspectors ( a clear violation of his own surrender) what are we to believe.
I CAN TELL YOU WHAT ***NOT*** TO BELIEVE.

plus he has shot at out and brittish war planes that are patrolling the no-fly zone at least 6 days since the new resolutions were intact.
YOU KNOW THIS BY READING WHAT? BY WATCHING WHAT?
and you really believe that he is no danger to us????
THE BIGGEST THREAT TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE IS THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT.

SADAM IS A THREAT NOW BASED ON WHAT? WHEN HAS HE ATTACKED AMERICA? SADAM IS A THREAT NOW BUT WASNT A THREAT WHEN REAGEN AND BUSH SR SOLD HIM ARMS? SADAM IS A THREAT NOW BECAUSE....................

THEY HAVE NOT GIVEN YOU OSAMA BIN LADEN AND WILL NOW TURN ATTENTION TO THE OTHER "BAD GUY".

THIS COUNTRY AND WAR IS A JOKE......

if you get a chance ask a professor about it. could your book be outdated??? i was under the impression that iraq was not a member a OPEC.
The first thing I did was look and see if the book is outdated and it said that it was printed in 2002. I posted the definition of OPEC above your post.

i see it. maybe then they are an inactive member of OPEC seeing as how they cant export but a little bit of oil (enough to survive) because of the UN sanctions.

but hey if thats what the book says than thats what it is, i mean i sure as hell dont know more then that damn book. (even though i wish i did).lol
