...he'd only be open for the second day (Friday, August 7th). Rock The Bells has a Denver show the day before.
On one hand Tech could skip that, as it's @ Red Rocks and he's already playing their as a HEADLINER on this coming tour. With that being a big show, wouldn't wanna have some people say "Why see Tech by himself when I can see him AND a bunch others in a couple months?" But, on the other hand, Denver is his biggest market, so it would make sense for him to be there.
Then there are the Sat and Sun shows. Rock The Bells will be in Cali for that weekend, with Ice Cube now slated for the LA show. Now you know Tech is all about Cali, not to mention he presumbly wouldn't pass on the chance to rock (pun intended) the same show as Cube. So you know he's gotta be slated for those shows.
So basically, for Tech to do the Gathering (as he previously announced he will) he would have to be open to flying from Denver to Cave-In-Rock, IL, then eventually fly all the way out to LA. Personally I think it would be a good look to do so, as he hasn't played there since '05, and he can show that he's down to play for and acknowledge the fan base that essentially got the wheels on his "short bus" (his biz wasn't poppin' like THAT until the Wicked Wonka tour, let's face it). Not to mention, Juggalos have been hollering about wanting to see Tech there again since '06. Plus KMK just got officially announced for it. So here's hoping it happens.
