a buddy gave me a free movie pass and that was the only thing playing. I figured it'd give me something to bitch about on this forum, so I went.

I ended up leaving about 3 quarters though it. I just couldnt stand it anymore. I mean, not only was it COMPLETELY biased and misleading (which I already knew it would be going into it), but it was a TOTAL fuckin snore fest. Ive never been so bored at a movie theatre. The shit went NOWHERE. It just kept going on and on and on and on. it started off somewhat interesting too.

I give it .5 stars out of 5

He's not really sure, just all of it was SO BIASED. And it was like...facts and figures....things you had to think about...graphs...just stuff that shouldn't be in a movie. A good movie is like..Terminator 2.

Heh...I saw the title of this thread and I was thinking to myself before I read it, "I bet hes going to discount the entire thing, not remember one thing about the movie and basically say it was stupid." I must have ESP.

I'm keeping up with a 3.8 gpa at ASU, scored a 1350 on my SATS, and am in honors.

I don't think your 2.5 at the community college of whatever shithole you live in really stands its own next to mine.

I haven't seen it yet...

And your GPA/SAT means shit to me...I got a 1280 on the SATs while I had a straight F average in my junior and senior years...I took a two weekend SAT study class and got a 1480. I've been profesionally IQ tested and blah blah whoopity whoop im in like the top 99.9 percentile...but that really means shit to me. I don't hold that over other people's heads...as a matter of fact I wouldn't have even mentioned it on this board had you not pulled the "comparison scores" out.

I saw straight idiots get 4.0s in high school and I see it now in college. You flaunt your grades like it proves something about you...a truly knowledge-hungry person can gain knowledge from any source...even if it is "Michael Moore!!!". Yet you say it was "boring", the same way my girlfriend regards politics, and the same way my football-playing younger brother doesn't understand why I spend so much time reading online. If you were a real intellectual you would not be against seeing the movie, at least for the simple reason of being able to put forth a decent argument on it.

And I actually haven't seen you put forth any kind of argument about much of anything. For all this woofing about your intellectual merits, most of your posts are on the verbal and thematic low end of this board.

Your 1350 SATs and 3.5 can only produce nuggets of wisdom like "Yea they really suck" and "youre just a bunch of liberals". Kudos to you for doing well in college, but I've yet to see any of this brainpower you supposedly have reflected in your posts here. Rarely do you ever venture outside of name-calling, labeling, or making judgements on the (in)validity of people's opinions. You say I couldn't tell you why I hate Bush...when you haven't told us why you hate *anything*. You haven't told us why you *like* anything either...All you have contributed to this board is kindergarten-ish name calling, or the sheep-like agreement with other people's statements without even contributing to the discussion or clarifying why.

reason why I don't back up anything I have to say in this forum is because it's all about politics.. and I do find politics boring. Ive never claimed to be knowledgable in politics. Nor have I ever claimed anti/pro Bush.

I don't got time to sit here and argue with 2-0 all day about who's responsible for terrorism. And I don't got time to sit here and argue with you about what I do and don't believe in.

Psycho Logic - while I agree with your opinion, White Devil does have a point. I blew off my entire high school career (although granted, no F's) and still raped the hell out of the SAT/ACT. Smarts aren't necessarily to be determined by grades. The smartest people are THINKERS/PHILOSOPHERS, not memorizers.

Smarts are one thing....leadership is another. And there are certain people on this board with lots of smarts, but ZERO leadership qualities, WHATSOEVER.

Keep up the good work, P.L. We need more child psychologists out there, and less people working at dead-end jobs and trolling around on political message boards.

Im glad that youre doing well in college PL but you make yourself sound petty and unintelligible when you completely disregard this movie for what it is, yes it was kind of boring but it's a documentary. . .And Tadou, you speak of leadership and having better things to do than stroll through a political message board, but what does that say of you? What about the rest of us who enjoy debating politics and finding information to post in this forum? I believe the real leaders of GOTM are the ones who MAKE threads about interesting subjects that stimulate discussion, not the people who "stroll" through political message boards only to bash left wing kooks and faggy goth kids who dont agree with you.
