I've seen/heard dude's name a million times, but I finally paid a little attention to Tech last night when I saw his video on some show.

I have only heard him on a few things here and there and he didn't really catch my ear until now, but I like what I heard last night.

i feel what u guys are sayin about anghellic but IF he heard slacker and liked it and is new to tech's music, i think he should get AP first and once he gets on the boat he can go back and buy Anghellic and look for the older stuff. just what i#d recommend.

tha way i see it is, the people on HERE... are special people...we are; not to say better than most people, just have a better mind.. we can feel & understand the shit techn9ne raps about & most people cant even come close to bein on the same level.. so, when Anghellic is played, most people wont understand the lil shit tech raps about that makes you smile when you hear it or makes you bob your head to some shit that he's flowing bout...

AP is hardcore but it would be easier for people to get into because it has less twists and turns than anghellic.

it took me a lot longer to get into anghellic than AP. I love em both, but that's how it was.

it's like if somebody came to me and asked what band they should listen to if they wanna get into metal. I'd wanna say slayer but i'd probably say metallica cus they're easier to get into for someone who dont listen to metal. thats how i think AP would be easier for someone who dont know tech's music than anghellic.

Cool.. I suppose that's true, to a point. Even before I really listened to most of the lyrics or even heard the entire album, Anghellic was definitely my fav. The songs on there are just sick, but I've always been into weird shit when it comes to rap, like Psychopathic, Jedi Mind Tricks, Rehab... So Anghellic hit the spot for me, but I definitely know what you're sayin' when you said "when Anghellic is played, most people wont understand the lil shit tech raps about that makes you smile when you hear it or makes you bob your head to some shit that he's flowing bout".

Because when I play Tech's music for people, I'm usually like "You gotta hear this song worst enemy" and their response is usually something like "oh that's funny" or some shit. I mean, they like it, but when I first heard it I had to listen to it 3 more times and laughed my balls off when I realized how clear it is..

I can see where all you guys are coming from.

But for me, I dove right in to Anghellic. It is exactly the kind of shit that I want to hear, the real shit. REAL. True stories from a real person from the same era as me... yada yada yada.

But when I heard AP was coming out and I saw the old intro to therealtechn9ne.com with the AP banner and song, i couldnt wait for AP to come out. I was hoping it would live up to the expectations that Anghellic laid down for me. And guess what, it did!
