Called "Things They Never Taught You In History Class". It was a bunch of stuff about how blacks have a huge part in history then we think. For example:

-Washington wasn't the first leader of the US. There was 9 before him and the first one was a black man.
-Jesus was black, something about a description of him said he was sitting on a thrown with his skin the same color as a certain rock. And that rock's actual color is like a dark brown.
-Almost all gods were black(the examples they gave were Zeus, Buddah and a Mexican god i can't member how it was spelled). I was surprised but they showed a picture of those statues(the ones from the chest up, forgot the name is it busts?) and the first one's from china had a certain style of hair called "corn patch" or something like that and that's how African's hair were. Then they showed a picture of one made in America after the US was discovered and the hair was wavy like a European.
-Egyptians were black and something about they were the first people on Earth.

What do you guys think of this? Some of it sounded a little fishy but I had just skimmed through it I need to read it more.

most of it is fishy but you never know becasue most of the evidence about those times is quite fragmentary and the way history has been and is still written to this day is fnot the way refelcting the objective truth of what really happened but rather saying what was convienient for those who wrote it

Washington wasn't the first leader of the US. There was 9 before him and the first one was a black man.
From what I've read there were seven or nine before him, but I don't recall one being black.

-Jesus was black, something about a description of him said he was sitting on a thrown with his skin the same color as a certain rock. And that rock's actual color is like a dark brown.
No, Yeshi, wasn't "black", but according to some he isn't anything because he doesn't exist.

Many gods do have african counterparts or are derived from various religions out of africa, but that doesn't mean almost all gods were black, and that type of belief actually does damage to other cultures.

-Egyptians were black and something about they were the first people on Earth.
Egyptians are "african", and some people believe they were teh first on teh earth, but science doesn't endorse this view (especially historical records), and an IN DEPTH study on egyptian religions and some of their gods will show this to be a falsehood.

To sum everything up, I don't share the belief that the black man made every single thing that is important in history. I believe ALL races, nationalities, creeds, cultures, people contributed to growth of science, religion, education etc.

Egyptian society in my opinion was most likely comprised of light brown, dark brown, and "black"..(terms r used very loosely and r meant for simple classification)

ancient Kemet influenced the world

eurocentrism really downplays the "black african" in history..

ive taken two africana study courses..learned alot
