How n tha hell do you get the detail on the paint job. For example....Iron Maiden...Mona Lisa...Anime...etc...(see previous posts).

I can under stand the outlines and overall shapes of pictures. ....but not the detail...the shading....I'm assuming it has something to do with the gradient fills. What about the Star Trek car. When I see that I see shapes skewed then filled....seems like the only way to accomplish an "x wing" lol...Wus crackin Jake...can I have some pointers....Thanks in advance!

yeah,you are talkin to the wrong guy about that...just like you said,i can grasp the basic concept of how they do it but once it gets into details i'm lost. i know there are tutorials all over the internet that might be able to get you in teh right direction,at least give you the basics.i'll try to find where i saw those. another way is to buy a car from the auction house that somebody else did then take it into the editor so you will be able to dissect how they did it

if you ever need a car for a certain race let me know,i have over 100 cars in my garage and only use about 4 of them
