man all i gotta say is mess has set a standard for years on how to bring quality EVERYTHING when it comes to artist devloping and marketing themselves. just because your independent doesnt mean you market and develop yourself that way...you have to give in order to recieve..invest in yourself. start investing in yourself, no wack album covers...no cheap ass videos...no weak ass rhymes and beats...no cheesy ass websites and myspaces....take pride in yourself and develop yourself and your brand. do you but look at the succesful ones and see how there setting themselves apart so they can be seen and heard. good job mess!!!! once again you have found a way yo keep the BAY ALIVE AND THRIVING... through putting out QUALITY SHIT!!!!!!!! the site is way beyond my expectaions, but then again mess has yet to let me down!!!!
oh and another thing...stop rushing to put shit out its a marathon not a race....take time with yu project to make sure every aspect of it is quality...from the music to the album cover and photos to the video to the websites and outlets in which you market yourself....people want quality and over time you will last over the guys who rush projects for the quick buck. i cant count how many artist i stopped supporting because of thier lack of quality. like momma used to tell me if you dont want to help yourself nobody else will...but as soon as your doing good for yourself you will be surprised by how many people wanna jump onboard and be apart of your projects because they see that you are willing to do the right things without help and that one day your going yo be a success!!!!! peep game yall.
