Snoop Dogg has reignited the east coast-west coast rap feud by claiming New York and Atlanta stars are stealing from California rappers.

Snoop, who joined mentor Dr. Dre to famously fight Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs and the late Notorious B.I.G over rap turf a decade ago, admits he's still angry about the way west coast hip-hop stars are treated by the music industry....

He says, "The way the business treats us on the west coast is real bad. We don't get no air play on the east coast, but east coast artists get all kinds of play on the west coast. We are just perceived totally different."

"They are always stealing our style, our slang, stealing our looks, stealing everything about us, and then getting paid off it, and we don't get anything. We just get pushed out the door."

"It's like this on the west coast: 'If you ain't with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, we ain't letting you in,' and that ain't fair. They should be given the opportunity just as well."

Why the West Coast died in the first place:

Southern California artists ignored the ENORMOUS talent coming out of northern cali and let artists like E-40, Too Short, C-bo, etc. go under the radar.

For real but Snoop, Dre, Ice Cube, Dj Quik that whole crew could have used their associations to showcase NOR CAL rappers but they never did. They basically ignored the whole scene.

You see that CD out WEST COAST UNITED? THat shit was LA + Dago...that ain't the west coast united thats So Cali united.

It's weird all of these Northern Cali CDs I pick up featuring Snoop, Daz, Kurupt, Bad Azz, MC Eiht, etc., but none of those artists have EVER featured a Northern Cali artist on one of their solo albums. I think the only time Snoop and E-40 have ever made a song together was on the Boss Ballin' 2 comp. The whole west coast needs to collaborate.

YUKMOUTH is on MC EIHT'S-UNDERGROUND HERO ALBUM & on UGofA.
MAC MALL is on the LIKS TRIBUTE TO ROGER TROUTMAN ALBUM
TOO SHORT is on SNOOPS-DOGGFATHER album
RAPPIN 4 TAY is on the 1st EASTSIDAZ album
and so on and so on
Alot of the times it has to do with record label politics instead of artists wanting to get down with each other plain and simple.

SNOOP & WARREN G have a song with THE DELINQUENTS on that PANDEMONIUM COMP. put out by ANT WIGGINS so yall need to drop the topic cuz everyone now wants to be a CEO of their OWN label with they OWN little crew and put out their OWN artists so don't blame SNOOP.

SNOOP stayed on a major when everyone else left to go independent and he kept grinding even after the DEATHROW situation and he came out on top. MC EIHT had a chance to go to NO LIMIT. THE FIGGARO had the same deal MASTER P did. It's all about taken chances, talent, luck and building. REAL TALK.
