another rapper with a reality show..... whats new?
Its not just another rapper, its BIG SNOOP DOGG...lol...nah seriously, at this point I dont even care what Snoop does..nothing is surprising from him anymore...He is one of the few rap artists I feel that could do anything and people will just accept it...Snoop has really done a good job over the years keeping is name out there, at any cost...the funny part about Snoop is, he STILL is holding on sooooo dearly to his "gangsta crip image"....eh, at least in the 90's I cared, but at this point I dont think anyone cares..he is in the middle of the rap game...He isnt highly sought after but he isnt forgotten either...I honestly dont know anyone who says "Snoop is my favorite rapper" (not that it means anything)..I think at this point, people see Snoop as more of a "fun character" than some serious "gangsta rapper"...I applaud the man, he has come a longgggg way has had a long career in this music business..not everyone from the early 90's can say that...

I dont know about you, but I just dont get the feeling that niggaz are really checking for Snoop like they used to..He has cemented his legacy, which is why he can do what he wants now...He has become a household name, and that is NOT because he was super gangsta...He does have a good balance and has had a great career...impressive career, but i dont think the West(or the rap game in general) is going crazy over Snoop(anymore)..if anything, they want to use Snoop to put other niggas on..He is a rap/Westcoast Legend, but he hasnt been sought after in years, but niggas still got love him regardless...he did his thang and built his empire to where he can do what he wants and not worry about anything...But I THINK if Snoop were to disappear today, I dont think people will be outraged....

Also, let's keep it real..Snoop is viewed as "funny" just as much as he as viewed as a "Gangsta"(in 2007)...that was no diss to him...I like Snoop..I applaud the fact that he is being himself and cant nobody stop that...that's power..

Ask any of your favorite rappers if they want to get down with SNOOP and the answer will be YES!!! Now as far as pressing to get him on a track it's probably no because the $$$ ain't how it used to be. Even YUK & BO want to get down with SNOOP & DRE but they ain't losing no sleep over it.

Im sure they would want to get down with Snoop..why NOT? His name could bring them publicity...Snoop is a legend in rap no doubt..Im just saying that Snoop did not become a household name simply because of his "gangsta" image, he changed with the game and stayed relevant..Instead of trying to be hardcore all the time, he changed his image where everyone could like him, for different reasons...that's all im saying..
