Come on man... If you have 500,000 people on your mailing list then your bulletins only reach 500,000 people whether you send 1 or 4 of them a day. 500,000 people doesn't magically turn into 2 million or 60 million just because you spam those cats several times. This is like the difference between a websites 'hits' and 'unique users'. You can have a billion hits and if you've only got 1000 unique users then it's only 1000 different people looking at your website.

Even though JT is trying to dazzle you by throwing bullshit numbers out, it still might be a good thing for the up & comers. If just 1% of those 500,000 people actually buy your cd that's 5000 unit sales which is better then most independant artists do.

I hear ya sic wit it. but I think he's taking into account that of the say 30,000 people or so that actually do see the bulletin that there will be a good amount of fans that will repost the bulletins and show it to their friends. So it could grow beyond snoop's actual friendlist.

It always looks good on paper but the real results never come close... Say 100 people sign up for it. That's 400 emails going to your inbox every day. How likely is someone going to be to dig thru all that and then actually show their friends? Especially when 75% of it is "promoting" the same product.

This boils down to playing with numbers and betting on peoples stupidity. It sounds like the deal of a lifetime because it's design to take advantage of peoples hopes. In the end it's just another take on multi-level marketing.

Like I said, for an independent artist it still might be a good deal, even if it is misleading like a mutha fucka. If you can manage to sell a few extra thousand units this way and it only costs you $1000 to do it, go get your money!

Prolly not... they talking about sending out 4 bulletins a day 4 times 500k is "2 million a day".

And aint no 30.000 out of that 500k gone repost all the bulletins just not happening. Most people hardly check bulletins and especially the ones with unknown artists promoting their albums. And since when do bulletins equal sales ? Not tryin to hate on anyones hustle just being realistic.

no. fo sho, I hear what ya guys are saying. realistically there's no way you're getting said numbers. I was just explaining where he probably came up with the 2million hits of of 500k friends concept... Was taking into account if some of the fans repost the bulletins it could spread too. but you're right, I missed the 4 bulletins a day.. 4 x 500k.

Sure in the end you might not rake in as much as you had hoped for.. But bottom line this is a great opportunity he's offering for smaller artists with little upfront investment, and not having to involve a whole bunch of middle-men who want a cut.

If you can push an extra few hundred or thousand cds.. not a bad way to go.

GET DIRECT MONEY THE NUMBERS DONT LIE. THERES NO PLACE ELSE WITH THIS MUCH TRAFFIC WIT NO SPLITS ITS THAT EASY.

PAPER HATERS CANT SAY SHIT UNLESS YOU CAN PROVE ITS A BETTER WAY BESIDES WAITING FOR A DEAL OR HAND TO HAND WHATS BETTER.

A LINK THAT GOES DIRECT TO IS THE BEST THING SINCE CRACK ON ANY CORNER OF AMERICA EARLY 80'S.

MYSPACE THE NEW CONER WHERE YOU POST YOUR LINKS IN EVERY BULLETIN AND CUT AND PASTE TIL YA DROP!!

IT ALL ADS UP. EVEN IF YOU WENT ON EVRY PAGE AND CUT AND PASTE FOR FREE YOU PUT YOUR SELF ON FRONT STREET TO SELL.

BUT WITH THE BULLETIN COMING FROM SNOOP TO HIS PEEPS HE NOW BECOMES YOUR SPOKES PERSON.

YOU DONT GOT TO BUY MY SHIT, IM NOT HERE FOR THAT UNLESS YOU WANT TO. BUT IM HERE FOR THE PURPOSE OF ONCE AGAIN SHOWING THE WAY TO THOSE WHO DONT KNOW THE GAME.

OR EVEN KNOW THAT ONCE YOU SIGN ON THERE ARE OVER 100,000 REGISTERED AFFILIATES ON MYSPACE WHO REPOST ON THERE SITE BECAUSE THEY MAKE A CUT FROM THE SALE.

THATS WHY I SAY 60 MILLION IN A MONTH BECAUSE OF THE REPOST.
