Whats up everyone. As many of you already know L-wood & R8R have been working on a new mix CD as a followup to the SFC Sucka Free Classics mix. This time around we decided to highlight Sacramento. Following the same pattern as the SFC, we took as many artists and songs from every hood and mixed them in a 160 min 2 Disc Mix. Covered a lot of music and talents and we still missed some.

We are in the process of getting the CD's ordered up so while that goes on we promised some of you that we would give you a taste of whats to come so here is a link for 12+min of each Disc. Give it a listen and please leave us some feedback, propz, negative propz whatever. We both put in a lot of time to make this a great mix for all the Siccness. We hope you enjoy it.

B/W Thanks to all of you that helped with suggestions when we first began tracking the music down!

edit: i just listened to the samples and this shit is fucking sicc!!!!!!!
what. lol

We are having a small number of hard copies made right now and they'll be available for $12 shipped. We appreciate you taking the time to give the samples a listen. It was hard to pick a section to sample on both discs because these tracks bring it from start to finish. Thanks for the feedback!

Clean and crispy r8r! Vicious mix that's Sac in and out 4 the mix. I understand that pretty much every Sac release known from '93-'99 was considered so congrats for gettin to the final product, and it delivering! The blendin was dope too mane, you had to use drum machines and some keys for that right?

Aww man it's a shame you didn't acknowledge Marcel for singing on Homidice's 'Haters Like You'. Hollis' right hand singer man.

See u acknowledged Jackers, D-Dubb & Levitti for hooks.. Private-I record's fault really for not putting credits in right.

^ i agree.

also, according to the track listing in reference to the mayjor playahz - sidewayz track, the girl you hear on the hook is maria matu.

can dizz confirm this? and did she appear on any other projects?

lastly, i know it has nothing to do with the topic, but the 'game affiliated' track by mayjor playahz is one of the better lead songs to an album you will hear in rap. it's like a song/intro all in one, pretty tight.

Hmm, more like a session singer or a friend gettin in on singin, unless she goes by another name usually...

Marcel sang all the hooks on Lunicoleone.com, was on some unreleased tracks on 'Classics', he's on Bad Azz - Money Run, Big Hollis - Knocks 2001, Murder Dog Presents Sac Kingz, Riderlife - Neva Look Back, Mel Chauvinist - The Chauvinist 1 ('03 edition), Shorty Pimpish - Fantasy II Reality, E.Klips Da Hustla - Game Spilla.. Dunno what else but prolly more. So he's done a lot of hooks ya feel. He's up there with D-Dubb.

@Lu_: Yes, the girl singing on "Sidewaayz" is Marla Matu. We originally had a girl named "PopCorn" sing on it. Popcorn was down with 5150 and was featured on many of their tracks. Marla was a friend of Raja's and he had her come into the studio and lay down a version. Popcorn's version was probably better, but for some reason, that I can't remember now, we used Marla's version. Thanks for the props on our intro called "Game Affiliated." Shout's out to the 916, 206, 408, 334, and 512 chapter MP's!!!

@mR.SiPpYGeTiPpY: what's up! I don't know if Marla went on a did any more singing. I really did not know her. I believe "Sidewaayz" was her first time in the studio...

nope, didnt use any drum machines or keys. If i had that equipment maybe it makes things smoother for me but dont have the $ for that shit.

We tried our best to give everyone credit but like you say, looks like we missed a couple. Our apologies for that.
