Looks hella cold up there... the crowd is giving Rivers some trouble... but losing is for the birds... Chargers baby!!
Yeah it was freezing, I was soaked and shivering for most of the game. And yes you're right about the crowd, it's widely regarded as the loudest in the NFL.

Clutch play at the end, it's the Chargers year, I'm glad we don't have to see them in the playoffs.

1) the only thing i can say is , how the hell does jackson get behind the coverage in that situation? 2) it just seems like we keep getting all the breaks...i hope in dont stop til feb. 7
Answer to your question: Michael Boulware

Boulware had that side of the field and he let Jackson slip behind him. This is very interesting b/c Boulware had been benched for the previous 8 games for letting a guy get behind him in the Minnesota game. But with the Seahawks (especially his replacement Jordan Babineaux) struggling to stop the run over that span, Holmgren put Boulware back in the starting lineup today b/c he is a stronger tackler (remember, he played LB in college). So it was a cruel twist of fate that saw the Seahawks lose that game today, but by no means was it a coincidence.

2) I understand where you're coming from, I call it winner's remorse. It seems like things just fall into place and your squad gets lucky here and there. I remember last year when the Seahawks, on their way to the Super Bowl on a similar late season hot streak, beat the Giants b/c Jay Feely missed 3 game winning kicks. It's a bunch of bullshit, don't worry about it. In the parity-dominated NFL, only special teams go 13-2. The Chargers have earned everything they've gotten. It doesn't guarantee playoff success, but don't dwell on the breaks b/c good teams make their own breaks, and that's what the Bolts have done.

From what I saw (half of third, all of 4th) the Chargers played like shit...Or maybe just Seattle was holdin em...It wasnt a pretty game tho...Just got lucky on that shit cause Rivers was wasting a GANG of time.

I can dig that... so many fools won't give it up to the Chargers... always making excuses when the Bolts beat their team... true class my man... true class...

There's just so much parity in this league, anybody that has played the latest Madden understands (like 75% of the league is ranked from 84-88).

You don't go 13-2 without being damn good. I remember feeling the same way about my Seahawks last year when they were 13-2 at this point.

If the Chargers could get home field throughout that would be huge, b/c they clearly struggled on offense today in the cold rain. The dropped balls and initially horrendous performance from Rivers looked like it was heavily influenced by the weather up here.

I would love the Chargers chances of getting to Miami if all they have to do is win 2 games in 64 degree Dago.
