IMO, they took it back a little, but not to the harder style they started with.

The album's growing on me, though.

I'm not sure if the leak is the official release/mix, either.

Its a dub release so itll have a better sound when the retail comes out

The sound quality on mine is near perfect.

I think the first half is a bit more "mainstream" sounding, in that is a bit on the post-grunge side...Deftones style. The last half of the album is vintage DT sound, though. In fact, its almost as if this is a product of two different projects mashed together.
