Anyone see the Pride fight (rematch) between Silva and Rampage? That sh was burtal. I seriously don't think I have ever seen anyone get puched that hard by Silva before.

For those who didn't see it.
Silva socked him EXTREMELY hard with a right hook with about 2 minutes left in the 2nd round....then kneed Jackson in the face about 4 times till Jackson fell half way through the ropes with blood pouring out of his face. One gash above each eye, a broken nose, and a busted up face.

I knew Silva was gonna kick his ass...

I gotta give it to Rampage for being able to take punishment like that. Wanderlei steps into the ring to fight and doesnt let nothing get in his way. He was in great shape and his speed and power were amazing. Rampage had some great defense on his behalf in the first round blocking a lot of Silvas punches and knee strikes, but as soon as it went to the ground Quinton lost a lot of his strength thus wasnt able to defend that beating in the second round. Silva pound for pound the best there is in pride middleweight division. Only antonio noguiera and fedor emelianenko are above him in the heavyweight to be the greatest. I'd have to say that was the second brutal fight of the year behind the ass whoopin Vitor Belfort took by the hands of Randy Couture. I can't wait for the New Year fights that are being put together right now.
What i didnt get was the lack of respect Quinton gave the fight when he was on the corner talking on the phone saying "i love you" to the person on the other end of the phone. He didnt come in with intensity he usually comes out with. I saw a calm tyson look to him which was odd and its gonna be hard adjusting to his new gospel ways of fighting..... I'd like to see Dan Henderson take on Ricardo Arona or one of those two fight Wanderlei in Jan. Those three fighters didnt suffer much punishments in their fights and should be ready to go come Jan.

I really doubt Silva is going to fight on the January card.
It would be nice to see though.

He is most likely going to fight on the new years eve card, Pride is trying to get Couture though I don't see that happening. If that doesn't happen, look for Silva vs CroCop II.

Man Quinton had me rollin at the begginin of the match. Dude was talkin on his cell durring the national anthem, then put it down, soon as it ended put that shit back up to his ear as they blended an image of the US flag with him. ROFL! Then he straight came up to Silva with a crazy ass smile on his face. Man that match was savage as fuck...
