Mars did you ever think of re-recording SIDS?

Like what Doomsday Prod. did with “Pray 4 Me”. They did new beats, twisited lyrics up here and there and add new quest spots. Then released it as “Survival of the Siccest”

Plus the quality would be a lot better.

I thought about it but that album sucks so bad that I'd rather do something with the same theme and concept but call it something else. Maybe SIDS 2 or something.

Yeah, but the point Rick was making: is that Mars would re record the lyrics and update the production and beats on them... So they would basically be new songs almost.

Kinda like when people cover old songs, they make an updated version of the song to fit their genre/style. That's what Mars would be doing.

wasn't this brought up months ago and mars said something like he didn't wanna do it because when SIDS was recorded he was going through alot of shit that was reflected in the music and he didn't wanna redo it because it wouldn't be the same?
