I dunno about you guys, but I go to User CP to look at the threads that I'm subsribed to and are updated...

How do you check for posts that you've already posted in? You browse each forum and look for each thread individually?

How though? You type in your name and search? I'm just saying, going to USER CP will give you all the updated threads that you're subscribed to, and thats what I like to use...

I do use subscriptions on other forums, but only instant email notification because I don't go on them as much.

also......why is there a trash bin, paper clip, and a grey box next to the thread title(in some cases)? are those icons only accessed by mods?

the envelope with the arrow is the new icon for showing that u have previously posted in the thread. if u put the mouse over these icons, they should tell u what they do
