was this beat a DJ Quik beat? its always been one of the dopest beats ever and i always wondered what song if any does it sample? it sounds real P-Funkish...........

^If it is a beat from Quik, it might have been from the red tape? I don't know for sure, though. We may never know unless someone asks Quik himself.

edit: on youtube, there are several songs from the red tape, and not one of them has the same beat.
