Shogun: “Liddell though that I was the best of the world”

The fighter from Chute Boxe Mauricio Shogun analyzed the victory if Quinton Jackson under Chusk Liddell at UFC 71, which gave the Light-Heavyweight belt to Rampage. “Liddell though that I was the best of the world, but who follows the MMA world knows that this is not true. Quinton had already showed that in another bout and his victory didn’t surprise me”, commented Shogun. After being pointed as the leader of the American ranking, Shogun reafirmed that he wants to conqueer the belt of a big event still this year. “I hope to be able to fight this year for the belt, with Quinton or with Henderson ”, said Shogun, who also commented about a possible return for July. “There is nothing right yet, but I believe that I will be back to fighting in July”, said the athlete from Chute Boxe.
