When it's a private citizen trying to bring shame on their name (ala the stripper in the hotel room, or that stripper at the Duke lacrosse party), I'm a little more skeptical, but when it's the police, I'll take their word over somebody with record every single time b/c I know they are right more often than they are wrong.

Only problem is we hear that kind of stuff so often that it's gotten to be like the boy who cries wolf, even if it is true nobody believes it. 9 out of 10 times the folks crying racism are eventually exposed as lowlifes who are full of shit. I know up here that's the way it is, I wouldn't expect it to be much different anywhere else.
And about Mr. Randolph, I've always been kind of intrigued by his "I'm not a Blazer I'm a gangsta" (somebody on here posted that he said that, I can't confirm a source so I'm not sure) mentality b/c he is from a small town in Indiana. That doesn't mean he had it any different than folks from the big cities, his hometown (Marion) actually was the site of the last traditional style lynching in the northern USA, and Indiana's a notoriously bad state for black people. But anyways, his background is definitely more country than it is ghetto, which is unusual in the NBA.

If u've never heard of the possom toss, the monkey incedent, the "smoke em, don't choke em" campeign, then u need to do some research and tell me after u have if u don't believe the ppd to be some of the most racist in the country... I don't know if any of that will be on the net knowin how they like to cover it up.. U can check tho...

I got nothing on the possom toss. I got some stuff on the monkey incident and of course, that's fucked up. Got nothing on the Smoke Em Don't Choke Em Campaign. If that one is about police shootings, I've noticed those to be some of the most racially dividing issues imaginable but to me seem like 9 out of 10 times are justifiable.

Maybe it's got something to do with the fact that Portland's one of the whitest cities in America, so the small black/latino population is able to be watched much more closely b/c there are 80,000 of you guys instead of 300,000. Maybe it's b/c white folks just don't do a whole lot of street stuff in PO for the same reason that they don't in most cities, b/c they're the ones with the $. At any rate, I hope they're getting the law breakers and leaving alone the law abiders alone, streets or white collar, white or black whatever. If the black dudes in North Portland are getting busted for pot then the white hippy dudes in Portland should be getting busted for it too (at my college that pissed me off b/c in the dorms the white hippy kids could sell/smoke all the weed they wanted while outside on Snelling Ave black dudes would get busted for selling it).
